65020 Glencoe Rd., Richland Twp. St. Clairsville I-70 Exit 216, go sout hon Rt. 9 approx. 3 miles. Make left on Cty Rd. 5. Go 3 more miles and barn is on the right side (down the hill) before Glencoe.Oliver 1655, a favorite tractor used yet today. Built from 1969-75.
“The Little Red Schoolhouse” on Martin Barn
60310 Twenty-Six Rd. Bethesda. I-7 Exit 208, go south on #149. Turn right (west) onto #147. At Bethesda 4-way stop, go south on #26. Travel through bethesda on #26, staying on #26 about 3 miles to pond on left. The barn is on the right.The owner, her parents and grandparents all taught school.
“Tulip” on Smith Barn
37850 Bethesda-Barnesville Rd. Barnesville I-70 Exit 208, go south on #149. Turn right (west) onto #147. At Bethesda 4-way stop, continue west on #147. The barn is located approx. half way between Barnesville & Bethesda across from South Central Power on #147.
The tulip pattern made by grandma is the quilt on her bed, a remembrance of her needlework.
“Guitars” on Valleyview Barn
43259 National Rd. Belmont. I-70 between Exits 208 & 213. West of St. Clairsville on Historic National Rd./US Rt. 40 and across the road (on north side) from Jamboree In The Hills.
This guitar pattern represents the largest country music event held in Belmont County annually.
“Ohio Bicentennial Logo” on Perkins Barn
65975 St. Rt. 149, Belmont. 65975 St. Rt. 149, Belmont. I-70 Exit 208, go south on #149. The barn is on the left located just before Barkcamp State Park entrance.Ohio Bicentennial logo with quilt pattern surrounding. This was the first official Ohio Bicentennial Barn painted in Ohio’s 88 counties.
“Farmall” International Harvester on Stephens Barn
68965 North Rd. Barnesville. I-70 Exit 202 and take Rt. 800 northwest to Cty Rd. 108 (North Rd.) just before Hendrysburg. Travel 4 miles and the barn is on the right with quilt pattern facing north.
“Buckeye” on Raynes Barn
56480 New Castle Rd. Belmont. I-70 Exit 202 and take Rt. 800 south to #148 east. Leave #148 onto Cty Rd. 26 and travel 3.4 miles. Barn is on the left.
“Feathered Star” on Kurtz Barn
56640 Somerton Highway, Somerton. I-70 Exit 202 and take Rt. 800 south through Barnesville. Continue 7miles south towards Somerton. Barn is on the right.This pattern dates back to 1800’s and has many variations.

“Overall Sam” on Simpson Barn
44680 Belmont-Centerville Rd. Belmont. I-70 Exit 208, go south on #149. At the stop sign turn left (east) onto #147. Go to the top of the hill, turn left at the stop sign. Follow #147 southeast out of Belmont approx. 3 miles, the barn is on the left side, about a mile before he owner’s home at the above address. The barn is before Dysart Woods.
Animals were herded to the river. Location is on the Drovers’ Trail Scenic Byway.

“Flying Geese” on Hogue Barn
64150 Brown St. Belmont. I-70 Exit 208 go south on #149. At the stop sign turn left (east) onto #147. The barn is located on the right, set back at bit off the road as you drive up the hill.
Geese fly in formation, a popular quilt pattern.

“Steadfast Steed” Horse on Ashby Barn
45321 Belmont-Centerville Rd. Belmont. I-70 Exit 208, go south on #149. At stop sign turn left (east) onto #147. Go to the top of the hill, turn left at the stop sign. Follow #147 southeast out of Belmont approx. 6 miles…passing the “Overall Sam” barn. It is on the left and before Centerville.

Creator of this design lost her daughter at 17 yrs. old and the daughter loved horses. She recreated in quilts the things her daughter loved.
“Lovebirds” on Ebbert Barn
60400 Hunter Rd. Bethesda. I-70 Exit 208, go south on #149. Turn right (west) onto #147. At Bethesda 4-way stop, go south on #26. Travel through Bethesda on #26. At “Y” take #92, then south on #86. Barn is on left.In agriculture, normally you need a couple. The love of family and agriculture is signified. There are hearts on the border and a twig with berries is being shared between the birds.
