The Martins Ferry Strawberry Festival is slated for June 9 from noon to 10 p.m. on Fourth Street. The Martins Ferry Lions Club will kick off the event with a Pancake Breakfast (featuring strawberry syrup) from 9:30-11:30 a.m. There will be an Art Show in Ohio Valley Lending by the Martins Ferry High School students; food trucks; entertainment; beer from High Tower Brewery; Craft and Vendor Fair; car show from 3-8 by Ohio Valley Street Survivors; and a coloring contest. The Library is currently collecting strawberry recipes for a cookbook they will be selling. There will also be a quilt show in the Library. Santa will even be making an appearance!!!
